Project Management

We partner with your team to offer layout solutions for single or multiple machines and entire warehouses. With our project management services, efficiency and quality control are always Pepper’s top priority for our customers.

Project Management

  1. Customer Inquiry/Site Visit
After a customer requests our help, we will schedule a site visit to meet with the customer to better understand the customer’s needs and gather requirements.
  2. Customer Requirements/Layout
We document facts, specifications, functional system and technical requirements, machines needed, automation required, customization needed, dimensions and warehouse layout, timelines and dates for shipping and/or when the project needs to be completed.
  3. Quotation/Proposal
Once we have gathered all of the customer’s requirements, we will provide a written quote, budget quotation or proposal to the customer for their review and signature to execute the agreement.
  4. Documentation/Project Planning
We use the customer requirements to develop any design documents, 3D computer drawings/models, work orders for fabrication, parts/equipment orders or other necessary items to complete the project.
  5. Production
Fabrication of conveyors, machines, systems, parts, etc., are built to customer specifications. Parts or equipment purchased from vendors for the project are monitored to guarantee that all project components are completed on time and ready to be delivered to the customer.
  6. Shipping
Items are either shipped from the vendor or delivered from Pepper Equipment to the customer location. All items are handled with the utmost care and are inspected upon arrival to ensure everything is in working order and the condition of the equipment and/or components is acceptable.
  7. On-Site Assembly/Installation
Items received at the customer location are assembled step by step and installed based on the project documents. Coordination of electricians, technicians or any additional resources is done by Pepper employees.
  8. Testing/Commissioning
All equipment and project components are thoroughly tested before commissioning to ensure that everything meets the customer’s requirements and all equipment, systems, etc., are working as expected.
  9. Customer Acceptance
After all testing is complete and the customer has reviewed all the project deliverables and is assured that their new equipment, system, etc., has met the performance criteria, the required documentation is signed.
  10. Service and Support
Pepper Equipment prides itself on doing things right the first time and establishing a long-term relationship with all of our customers. We want our customers to know how much we care about them and to contact us whenever they need us.
